Sacred Hearts High School is proud to offer an enriching three-week American Study Tour for approximately 35 students from the 8th and 9th grades who have a strong interest in English learning. Accompanied by two teachers, the group will travel to the United States, with programs available on either the East Coast or the West Coast.
Students may choose to focus on the East Coast, where immersive English instruction takes place at New York or Boston universities, or on the West Coast, where the journey centers on the vibrant cities of San Francisco or Los Angeles, combining language learning with rich cultural exploration.
The academic portion of the program features internationally qualified TESOL-certified instructors and small-group classes (15–18 students) tailored to students’ proficiency levels. The curriculum emphasizes thematic discussions, idea exchange, problem-solving, and group interaction, enabling students to transform classroom knowledge into practical communication skills.
Beyond the classroom, participants will engage with international peers from around the world through activities such as cultural nights, talent shows, and welcome events. Whether exploring the historical and academic atmosphere of the East Coast or the cultural and innovative spirit of the West Coast, our students will broaden their horizons and grow in confidence. Given Sacred Hearts High School’s strong tradition of extracurricular involvement and active student clubs, we are confident they will thrive in this global and collaborative learning environment.
