\nStarting from Samba 3.0.3 this port doesn’t create ‘smbpasswd’ file
\nautomatically. Users are encouraged to use ‘tdbsam’ backend instead:<\/p>\n

You can use pdbedit to migrate accounts from ‘smbpasswd’ to ‘tdbsam’,
